DMP Training is seeking a qualified ITSSAR Category 1 Instructor to support delivery on a short-term subcontract basis in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced instructor to deliver high-quality, compliant training within a professional and well-supported environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering ITSSAR-accredited forklift and MHE training, ensuring all sessions meet awarding body standards and industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver ITSSAR Category 1 training to novice, experienced, and refresher candidates
- Ensure all training is compliant with ITSSAR standards and HSE guidance
- Conduct practical and theory assessments
- Complete all relevant training documentation accurately
- Maintain a safe and engaging training environment
Requirements
- Valid ITSSAR Category 1 Instructor accreditation
- Proven experience delivering forklift/MHE training
- Strong knowledge of current industry regulations and best practice
- Own transport and ability to travel to site in Bury St Edmunds
- Professional, reliable, and well-organised
Contract Details
- Subcontract position (self-employed)
- Approx. 8 weeks duration
- Competitive day rate (negotiable depending on experience)
- All training equipment and materials provided
